Last Saturday, we took a day trip to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. The arboretum is an Arizona State Park located just outside of Superior approximately two hours north of Tucson. It was founded in 1925 and is the largest and oldest botanical garden in the state. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, temps in the mid 90's. We didn't know what to expect, but were ready for an adventure. The arboretum was spectacular and by far my favorite botanical garden visited thus far!
