This was an evening of pure delight. There was nothing extravagant about it; the evening cost us very little money. We were simply together, having fun under the lights of the carnival. Our smiles shone brightly against the night sky. All was well in our little world. As I recall the sights, sounds and overall joy of the evening, I am reminded of just how precious my family is to me. Treasure and acknowledge the blessings in your life. If you can't see God's goodness when things are truly good, you'll surely miss it in times of trial.
