Gram and Papa's whirlwind tour of the West included a trip to California to see Mark. Months prior to their trip, they asked if we would like to accompany them to San Diego for a long weekend. After much deliberation, okay not really, we accepted the invitation! On Thursday, October 4th, we were off on a seven hour road trip to San Diego! With the exceptions of an accidental headbutt from Caleb and a somewhat sketchy rest area, the drive went well. We arrived in beautiful San Diego late afternoon with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the pool before heading out for dinner. Vacation had officially started!
