Maritime Museum and Pilot Boat Tour

Our last full day in San Diego began with a trip back to the San Diego Bay for a visit to the Maritime Museum and a historical tour of the bay aboard the Pilot, a 1914 pilot boat. The tour began aboard the Berkeley, an 1898 ferryboat which houses the museum. From there, you can climb aboard a Russian submarine, a replica of a Royal Navy frigate, and more! The collection was remarkable. It was then time to to tour the bay, my favorite part of our San Diego adventure. I loved being on the water, soaking up the sun and learning the rich history of the bay area. The warm sunshine and gentle rocking of the boat put Caleb right to sleep along with Daddy's arms! We enjoyed lunch in Seaport Village at Edgewater Grill overlooking the bay. What an awesome day, and that was just the beginning!

Caleb's Ocean Experience

The salty ocean breeze, the crashing waves and the sweet sound of Caleb's laughter as he experienced the ocean for the very first time.....priceless and unforgettable.
